The Sporting Clube de Portugal/Tavira team was officially presented last night during the football match between Sporting Lisbon and FC Porto, the Portuguese Football Classic at the Alvalade stadium. The ridersriders unveiled the jersey of the green and white team and were applauded by nearly 50,000 spectators in a packed stadium. The party was complete as Lisbon beat their rivals 2-0 and moved to the top of the standings.
The official roster of the teamh will feature 12 riders, four Apaniards, one South African, one Italian and six Portugueses:

- Julio Gonçalves. Portuguese, 21. Former team: Anicolor (Portugal)
- Luis Fernandes. Portuguese, 28. Former team: W52-Quinta da Lixa (Portugal)
- Mario Gonzalez. Spanish, 23. Former team: ActiveJet Team (Poland)
- Oscar Gonzalez. Spanish, 23. Former team: Efapel (Portugal)
- Rafael Lourenço. Portuguese, 18. Former team: Junior CC Tavira (Portugal)

The main goal for the team will be overall victory at the Volta ao Portugal where Nocentini and de la Fuente are expected to be the leaders.
