The official confirmation is still missing but it seems certain that Janier Acevedo is ready to return to Jamis.
The Colombian rider will be back after two poor seasons with Cannondale-Garmin and seeks redemption in the team that launched him in cycling in 2013, when he surprised everyone with impressive results in the American races. The 29 year-old had a fantastic year, finishing third in the Tour of California after a prestigious stage win. A few months he repeated the victory in the USA Pro Challenge.
According to reports in Revista Mundo Ciclistico, Acevedo will be the leader pf the continental team in stage races, taking over from compatriot Daniel Jaramillo who has signed a contract with UnitedHealthcare.
