"We have a great team at Tirreno. After Oman, I could go to a training camp in Tenerife and I benefited from good conditions. The shape is good, I'm where I want to be before the big races atTirreno andthe Tour of Catalonia."

Ag2r will go into Tirreno-Adriatico with a two-pronged GC attack of Domenico Pozzovivo and Jean-Christophe Peraud.

Pozzovivo was recently 8th in the Tour of Oman.

"I'm satisfied," he said. "I thought I could wint the second stage, but the last 150 meters were a little less difficult and it suited me less. Except for the stage to the Green Mountain, I am satisfied with my feelings before the next major race

"I finished in the top ten in the last two editions of Tirreno-Adriatico (8th in 2015 and 6th in 2014). The race is less difficult than other years. We'll see what it is. We have a great team at Tirreno. After Oman, I could go to a training camp in Tenerife and I benefited from good conditions. The shape is good, I'm where I want to be before the big races atTirreno andthe Tour of Catalonia."

Before Tirreno team he will look at certain stages of the Giro with co-leader Jean-Christophe Peraud.

"I have experience of the Giro, unlike Jean-Christophe who will discover the race," he said. "I think we can complement each other and make a great team during the three weeks. I'm happy to team up with him. "

Jean-Christophe Péraud has done Tirreno-Adriatico once, in 2014 where he took 4th place.
