Christophe Premont (Verandas Willems) again proved his potential by riding strongly in the early breat at the GP de Wallonie.
"I like these challenging climatic conditions. But I prefer to be in the break, it is less nervous than in the bunch," he told Directvelo. 2Today I really wanted to be part of the early break. We struggled to get clear, as always in this event. I finally attacked at the right time. When you end up with someone like Van Melsen, you know that it is good. Unfortunately, the bunch did not give us much of an advantage. It was not easy to manage, it was beautiful to ride hard. We knew we would not get more than two-three minutes. We were not more than five and therefore we had no chance. I did what I could and I think we can draw a positive balance of the day with fourth place for Gaëtan Bille."
