It was a double podium for the Androni Sidermec in the Giro d'Italia as Marco Bandiera won both the sprints competition and the competition for riders who have been most on the attack.
In the former competition he beat Nicola Boem into second and in the later, former world champion Philippe Gilbert was his nearest rival.
"We have always honoured the Giro with attacka and search for a victory that we deserved," said Team Manager Gianni Savio. "Congratulations to the guys who did what we asked them to do in a good way. In Milan, Marco Bandiera was on the podium twice which is thanks to both himself and his teammates who took turns in being on the attack."
