The organizers of the Vuelta a Murcia have reached an agreement with Astana who will line up at the next edition of the Spanish race.

Astana is one of the best teams in the world and among its riders, it has Murcia Luis Leon Sanchez who has signed with Alexandre Vinokourov's team after a single year at Caja Rural.

His presence among the Astana riders on the roster for Murcia has been the most important aspect for the organizers despite the fact that the Astana team can also boast riders like Tour de France winner Vincenzo Nibali, Jakob Fuglsang, Lieuwe Westra, Mikel Landa, Fabio Aru and new signings like Rein Taaramae, Miguel Angel Lopez, and Lars Boom.

A formidbale team will arrive in Murcia in search of victory, especially with Fabio Aru who finished third in the Giro and fifth in the Vuelta and will be one of the favourites to take the win in Lorca.
