Bardiani – CSF is ready to fight in Turkey where they will take part in the 51st Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey, an important stage race with worldwide TV coverage.
The Green Team will be led by Enrico Barbin who was 10th in the general classification in 2014, Sonny Colbrelli, Enrico Battaglin and Nicola Ruffoni who is expected to deliver good results in the many bunch sprints.
”For some years, the Tour of Turkey has been a really important event and a perfect race to test the shape for the upcoming Giro d’Italia," sports director Mirko Rossato said. "We go to the start with a well balanced line-up, first of all with Barbin and Battaglin who was 7th in the general classification in his first pro year. I also expect a strong performance by Ruffoni who will be alongside Piechele and Simion and will have different bunch sprints to show his power against top sprinters like Cavendish and Greipel."
”Last year I achieved a good result, managing to be with the best in the two mountaintop finishes," Barbin said. "It was my first experience as a GC contender and I can be quite satisfied. Now I come back with a good condition, more experience and knowledge about last year's climbs that will be back. The goal is clearly to improve."
