Bardiani – CSF Pro Team will take part on Thursday 9th at 62th Coppa Sabatini that will traditionally finish in Peccioli (Tuscany). A race in which “green team” made stunning results during last editions, as happened in 2011 with the victory of Enrico Battaglin when he was only a stagiaire and with former rider Andrea Pasqualon 2nd in 2014 behind Ulissi.

Battaglin along with Sonny Colbrelli will lead the Italian squad, aiming for a victory but also to take the leadership in the Italian Team Cup in with they currently lose to Neri Sottoli – Alè by 57 points.

Enrico Battaglin: ”Memories from this race are always great. After the victory three years ago, I come back in this edition with a good shape. I know really well the circuit and the final uphill. I think as squad we’ll have to work and manage the race, bringing at the bottom of the finish line a selected group. Then me and Colbrelli we’ll have to be ready for the sprint”.

Roberto Reverberi, Sport Director: ”With its classic uphill finish, Coppa Sabatini is a perfect race both for Battaglin and Colbrelli. Between this event, Giro dell’Emilia and GP Colbrelli of following weekend, we have the last chance to get the victory of Italian Team Cup. Conquer this new trophy could be a fanstastic way to end this great season”.

The Bardiani-CSF roster for Coppa Sabatini | October 9th:
Enrico Barbin, Enrico Battaglin, Manuel Bongiorno, Sonny Colbrelli, Stefano Locatelli, Angelo Pagani, Andrea Piechele, Stefano Pirazzi, Nicola Ruffoni, Edoardo Zardini.
