CCC Sprandi Polkowice has made the final addition by signing young Czech rider, Frantisek Sisr. He is joining the orange squad from Klein Constantia, together with his teammate Michal Schlegel whose transfer has been announced earlier.

"It is very important for us to invest in young cyclists. We have already brought in the most talented Polish riders and now we welcome youngsters from the Czech Republic, first Michal Schlegel and now Frantisek Sisr. The 23-year old knows how to win, can sprint from a small group and does well in stage races with undulating profiles. He has also experience in track cycling, as he was the world champion in scratch in the junior ranks," Piotr Wadecki, sport director of CCC Sprandi Polkowice, explains.

Sisr spent his first four years in the U23 category riding for Dukla Praga. In 2016 he joined the development squad of Etixx-Quick Step, Klein Constantia, and at the end of the year he was a stagiaire at the Belgian World Tour team, taking part in a few Belgian one-day races.

Among his biggest achievements are victories in Polish Korona Kocich Gór (2015), in stages of East Bohemia Tour (2016) and Le Tour de Bretagne Cycliste trophée harmonie Mutuelle (2016) in which he also finished 2nd in GC. He claimed all of those wins after sprinting from a small group.

Sisr was often ranked in the top 10 of various races, which helped him bring home the triumph in points classifications on a few occasions. He got the jersey in East Bohemia Tour (2015) and Tour de Slovaquie (2016). He also won the youth classification at Tour d'Azerbaïdjan (2015).

On the track, apart from becoming junior world champion in scratch, he also won bronze at the U23 European Championships in the team pursuit, silver in the Junior European Championships in the Madison and represented his country in elite world championships in the team pursuit (11th place).

By signing Sisr, the orange squad finalized the roster for the 2017 season. It includes: Adrian Kurek, Branislau Samoilau, Kamil Małecki, Jakub Kaczmarek, Łukasz Owsian, Maciej Paterski, Mateusz Taciak, Michał Paluta, Nikolay Mihaylov, Patryk Stosz, Piotr Brożyna, Alan Banaszek, Marcin Białobłocki, Felix Grossschartner, Jan Hirt, Leszek Pluciński, Marcin Mrożek, Michal Schlegel, Simone Ponzi, Jan Tratnik and Frantisek Sisr.
