"Davide Rebellin and Maciej Paterski will both stay in our team. The former is still in great shape and has a lot of passion for cycling, despite being 44 years old. The latter has recorded his best season in 2015."

By signing Marcin Mrożek, CCC Sprandi Polkowice has finalized the roster for the 2016 season. 27 riders are on the team, among them Davide Rebellin and Maciej Paterski who claimed the biggest wins in 2015 for the orange squad.

"We are very satisfied with the reinforcements that we have made. We have added great climber, Victor de la Parte, fast Simone Ponzi and also talented Felix Großschartner, Alan Banaszek and Marcin Mrożek who have big potential. We believe that they will adapt to the team and that together we will make the 2016 season better than the previous one," Piotr Wadecki, sporting director of CCC Sprandi Polkowice, said.

The year 2015 was very successful for the Polkowice-based squad. The riders in orange claimed 17 wins in UCI races and made the podium 57 times. Among the biggest accomplishments was Maciej Paterski’s victory on Stage 1 and leader's  jersey at Volta Ciclista a Catalunya and overall triumph in the Tour of Croatia, Davide Rebellin’s win in Coppa Agostoni and on the queen stage of the Tour of Turkey (plus the leaderøs jersey) and also victory in the team time trial at Settimana Coppi e Bartali, where CCC Sprandi Polkowice defeated Team Sky. One of the highlights of the 2015 season was also participation in one of the Grand Tours, the Giro d’Italia.

"Davide Rebellin and Maciej Paterski will both stay in our team. The former is still in great shape and has a lot of passion for cycling, despite being 44 years old. The latter has recorded his best season in 2015 and we are very happy that he wants to keep improving with us.

We also continue our young riders development program. We have 10 guys, who in 2016 will be 25 years old or younger. 6 of them will still be in the U23 category. They will have a chance to learn from very experienced cyclists, such as Rebellin, Sylwester Szmyd and Tomasz Kiendyś."

The combination of youth and experience is not an overstatement in the case of CCC Sprandi Polkowice. The team’s roster includes one of the youngest riders in the professional peloton – 19-year old Alan Banaszek - and also the most experienced one – Rebellin. Next year the average age of the 27 riders will be 27.52 years.
