Daniele Colli was one of the great protagonists in the break at the Strade Bianche.
The Nippo - Vini Fantini rider is satisfied for having "joined a nice break," as he told Spaziociclismo after crossing the finish line, even if the peloton started to chase hard to "catch us just at the beginning of the Monte Sainte-Marie.
Colli was joined by his teammate Giacomo Berlato and according to Colli, it was an important part of the strategy to have riders in the break who could help Damiano Cunego. "Unfortunately, it went differently."
The next event for Colli will be the GP Nobili where he "will try to do well" as it is one of the big objectives.
