Andrew Talansky continued his string of bad luck when he was involved in a bad crash in the Vuelta al Pais Vasco. The American is a possible non-starter in tomorrow's queen stage.
"Andrew Talansky crashed in today’s stage when approaching a roundabout at high speed. He suffered abrasions and contusions to his elbow, hips, and knee, but as of right now there appear to be no fractures. He was able to get back on the bike and finish the stage. Andrew will continue to be treated by the medical staff tonight, with the hope of starting stage four tomorrow," Dr. Kevin Sprouse, Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling Team Physician, said.
