From Friday 13 May 2016 till Sunday 15 May the 70th edition of the Tour de Picardie in France will take place. The team Wanty-Groupe Gobert will line-up with Tom Devriendt, Kenny Dehaes, Robin Stenuit, Mark McNally, Gaëtan Bille, Frederik Veuchelen, Danilo Napolitano, Lander Seynaeve. Kenny Dehaes won last week his first race for Wanty-Groupe Gobert. He took the last stage of the Four Days of Dunkirk and is already looking with confidence to this race.
"This victory was a relief for me. I’m now aiming for a stage win in Picardie," Kenny Dehaes said.
Kenny Dehaes finished second in the GC in 2011and has done the race four times in his career.
"This race suits me. I hope to continue this momentum," he continues.
In January, Kenny Dehaes became dad. During the first stage of the Tour of Qatar, he fell and was ill later.
"Normally I'm in shape in March, but I only get in shape now. I hope to achieve some good results until the Belgian Championships", he concludes.
