After the UCI has decided to postpone the introduction of their new ranking, the international federation has released the first WorldTour ranking based on the results from the Tour Down Under.

The individual standings closely mirror the final classification and so Rohan Dennis leads ahead of Richie Porte and Cadel Evans. With two riders on the final podium, BMC have taken a dominant lead in the teams ranking.

Finally, Australia has a big lead in the nations ranking which is no surprise as the country occupied the entire podium in their home race.

The rankings will next be updated after Paris-Nice in the first half of March as the French race is the next event on the WorldTour calendar.
