Eight Team Katusha riders will start in the 1st European Games in Baku (Azerbaijan). Six Katusha riders were selected in the National Team of Russia, which will take part in two races: individual time trial (June 18th) and road race (June 21st).

 

Six riders will represent Russia: Iurii Trofimov, Sergei Chernetckii, Alexey Tsatevich and Pavel Kochetkov (all road race). Anton Vorobyev and Ilnur Zakarin start both in ITT and road race.

 

Two more Team Katusha riders will take part in the 1st European Games: Gatis Smukulis will represent Latvia in both races, while Angel Vicioso will be a part of Spanish National Team in the road race.
