Jimmy Engoulvent (Europcar) was the final rider to get caught by the peloton in today's stage of the Vuelta a Espana.
"We were hoping for the favourites to leave us a little bit of time but unfortunately Orica-Greenedge started to chase and reduced the gap quickly. Our lead reached 14 minutes but there was a lot of headwind and at time crosswinds favouring echelons. As a result, it was very difficult. It's true that in the Europcar team we don't have a Valverde or a Sagan. Our way to shine is to go into the breaks," he said.
