Again Androni Sidermec continued their aggressive racing in the Giro d'Italia.
The team led by Gianni Savio and Giovanni Ellena has had a rider in the break in eleven of the twelve road stages in the Italian grand tour. Today the star of the day was Marco Frapporti who, with the points scored in the two sprints, took the lead in the sprints competition ahead of teammate Marco Bandiera.
At the finish in Jesolo, it was an eleventh place in the sprint for Davide Appollonio.
