After the fantastic victory of Enrico Gasparotto in the Amstel Gold Race, the second Ardennes classic takes place on Wednesday with the Flèche Wallonne on 196 kilometres with the extremely steep of the Mur de Huy.
Wanty-Groupe Gobert will line-up with Jérôme Baugnies, Gaëtan Bille, Guillaume Martin, Mark McNally, Marco Minnaard, Björn Thurau, Frederik Veuchelen and Enrico Gasparotto.
"Our goal stays the same : to be all the time present", sports director Hilaire Van der Schueren said.
Gaëtan Bille comes back after being sick for a few days. He didn't ride for four days. "I started to ride again yesterday (Monday). I did not fell very well. Today (Tuesday), I felt better", the Walloon rider said.
Gaëtan Bille will take part in this 80th edition without personal ambitions. "I will give everything for our team captain Enrico Gasparotto. He is in good shape", Bille continues.
The rider gave more explanations about the tactic for tomorrow. "Enrico Gasparotto will wait until the last climb of the Mur de Huy to try something. He can get a good result", Bille concludes.
