Greg Van Avermaet was absent at the start of Paris-Roubaix. Indeed, the Belgian rider suffered a broken collarbone after Tour of Flanders crash. But he is already back on the bike.
"I'm not feeling too bad after the surgery and now I'll take things day by day", he told on social networks.
"For me it's a big disappointment because Flanders and Roubaix are the biggest races of my season and I cannot be there. It's not a good situation but hopefully I can handle it and come back stronger", he told a few days ago.
The 30-year-old was quickly back on his bike and riding outside as his regular training partners. He joined joined them for a two hour ride yesterday.
