Belgian Jasper De Buyst and Dane Marc Hester maintained their tender lead in the Copenhagen Six Days yesterday to see off the attacks of home crowd favourites Alex Rasmussen and Jesper Mørkøv who won the first Madison of the evening.
The two teams both managed to gain a bonus lap which put them ahead of Belgians Kenny De Ketele and Moreno De Pauw who had a quiet evening.
Unfortunately, the peloton has been hit by illness. Yoeri Havik, for instance, was neutralized during the second Madison yesterday. As a result he lost no fewer than 8 laps with team mate Otto Vergaerde.
