Ag2r La Mondiale will get together the two heroes of the 2014 Tour de France at the Classica Almeria and the Vuelta a Andalucia Ruta Ciclista del Sol: Jean-Christophe Péraud and Romain Bardet. The group will also be strengthened with the presence of the Belgians Jan Bakelants and Johan Van Summeren.

"We have a great team, strong and smooth", explained Bakelants. "I am a striker, as many riders in the team and that is why Vincent Lavenu hired me. I will prepare to compete in the period of the Ardennes Classics. For this first race, it's hard to know where I am. Despite some health problems, I was able to train and I have missed any training camp. I am optimistic and looking forward to start."

The team has not raced the Vuelta a Andalucia Ruta Ciclista Del Sol from its three appearances between 1997 and 1999, 16 years! It will therefore be a first with the jersey AG2R La Mondiale.

Classica de Almeria (15/02) / 183,3km : Romain Bardet, Jan Bakelants, Blel Kadri, Jean-Christophe Péraud, Christophe Riblon, Lloyd Mondory and Johan Vansummeren.
Vuelta a Andalucia Ruta Ciclista Del Sol (18-22/02) : Romain Bardet, Jan Bakelants, Blel Kadri, Jean-Christophe Péraud, Christophe Riblon, Johan Vansummeren and Sébastien Minard.
