The first race for Roompoot Orange Peloton in Scandinavia, the five-day Tour of Norway, ended with two two podium places and a special experience, with race kilometers in a snowy landscape and a wind chill below freezing.

After he had won the opening stage, Alexander Kristoff was also the fastest in stage 2. In an uphill sprint André Looij was comstantly among the best and took a fine fourth place that again underlined his potential. In the same stage, Tim Kerkhof was 13th.

In the queen stage, Jesper Hansen grabbed control with a great solo win. The young Dane from Saxo-Tinkoff won the mountain stage and took the lead in the overall standings. Hansen defended it until the end. In the penultimate stage with an uphill finish, the victory went to Amets Txurruka. On b oth days were Michel Kreder was the best rider for Roompot Orange Peloton with two placings in the top 30 as a result. 

"Unfortunately I came up little short to be in the fight for the podium," said the oldest of the Kreders about what he calls "a super nice race." "I am also sure that this race has made us stronger and we will be good in the Tour de Fjords."

In the final stage to Hønefoss (where Tim Kerkhof was part made ​​of the breakaway), Norwegian Andreas Vangstad took the win. The home riders were strong: six Scandinavians in the top 10 of the overall standings. Michel Kreder finished 22nd and was best Dutchman.
