On Thursday, June 11th, WorldTour Team Katusha will start in the one-day race (UCI 1.HC) GP Kanton Aargau in Switzerland, which traditionally precedes the UCI WorldTour stage race Tour de Suisse (June 13th – 21st).
The hilly one-day race is often decided in a reduced bunch sprint, making it perfect for Alexander Kristoff who will lead the team. He will be supported by lead-out man Jacopo Guarnieri while climbers Iurii Trofimov, Ilnur Zakarin, Sergei Chernetckii, Sergey Lagutin and Pavel Kochetkov may go on the attac in the finale.
The team’s line-up:
Sergei Chernetckii, Jacopo Guarnieri, Pavel Kochetkov, Alexander Kristoff, Sergey Lagutin, Iurii Trofimov, Anton Vorobyev and Ilnur Zakarin.
