Steven Kruijswijk hopes to return to the Giro d'Italiain 2016. He revealed his plans during the presentation of the LottoNL-Jumbo skating team which included a number of bike riders too.

 

"I'm going to talk with the team about my program for next year  in the future," Kruijswijk told Wielerflits. "But the Giro is something I look forward to again. Especially with the start in the Netherlands."

 

Kruijswijk was one of the protagonists in the 2015 Giro and finished seventhoverall . His teammate Robert Gesink recently revealed that he also like to ride the Giro and go for GC before focusing on the Olympics.
