To announcethe renewal of the agreement which will allow him to race for TJ Sport - the team now known as Lampre-Merida - Manuele Mori chose Japan, a ountry where he’s very popular and where he won the 2007 edition of the Japan Cup.
The Tucan rider, born in 1980, disclosed the news during an event which was organized by SHUKOH CO, a company which is sponsor of the team of the manager Saronni for the Japanese races.
On Tuesday Mori and his team mates, after having taken part in the Japan Cup, visited the factory of the Japanese company and spent time with the reporters and the fans, to whom the Italian cyclist (13 seasons as pro) announced his signing of a two-year deal with TJ Sport.
“I’m very happy to have received the appreciation from the team and for having signed a new contract and, even if the 2016 season has just ended, I can’t wait to start the new one," Mori said. "It was great to make this announcenment in Japan and it was even greater to be in Shukoh’s factory with tthe Sakuma family, owner of the company.
"The team for the next year will be characterized by big enthusiasm and in the roster there will be many young talented riders: my experience and my work will be for them“.
