Mikel Landa set the fastest time in a time trial held on the Orozketa Climb on Saturday, beating Amets Txurruka and Markel Irizar.

The race was held in a festive atmosphere and had gathered a strong field of Basque rider, with Landa, Txurruka, Irizar, Benat Intxausti, Jonathan Castroviejo, Pello Bilbao, Omar Fraile, Victor De La Parte, Imanol Estevez, Mikel Bizkarra, Haritz Orbe, Ricardo Garcia and Jonathan Lastra. School children were also in attention and got a chance to spend a day with their idals.

The event was one of Landa's final outings in an Astana jersey as he will be joining Sky for 2016.
