Doubts had been raised about the issue but now it has been confirmed: the riders of Team LottoNL-Jumbo may wear their yellow jersey. The team reports through social media that the UCI has officially approved the jersey.

Earlier this week, De Telegraaf wrote that the team had to go back to the drawing board. The shirt would damage the recognizability of yellow leader's jerseys in various races. Now it seems UCI has no problems with the outfit. 

However, it is still possible that the team needs another jersey for the Tour de France . According to the Tour rules, an outfit may not resemble the yellow jersey too much. This year Tinkoff-Saxo were forced to adjust their jersey.
