After a successful first professional season, Davide Martinelli is looking to build on his progress.
Having won a stage at the Tour Provence in his second race of the year, he also won in WorldTour as he claimed the first stage of the Tour of Poland. The 23-year-old Italian is a complete rider who has spent the first year getting accustomed to the highest level with great success and now wants to aim higher.
The QuickStep rider plans to start his season at the Dubai Tour and is expected to take part in major classics like Milan-San Remo, the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix he told Ultimo chilometro.
