On Thursday, LAMPRE-MERIDA will be at the start of the Tour of Slovenia.
The blue-fuchsia-green line-up could be competitive in all the four stages, considering that sports directors Marco Marzano and Mario Scirea will direct these seven riders: Roberto Ferrari, Marko Kump, Sacha Modolo, Matej Mohoric, Luka Pibernik, Diego Ulissi and Federico Zurlo.
The fast riders from LAMPRE-MERIDA will target the first and the final stages, counting on Ferrari and Modolo, who both will be back after the Giro d'Italia, on Kump and on the duo Pibernik-Zurlo who have just completed the Criterium du Dauphiné.
The second stage will have a summit finish in Golte and it will be an interesting test for Diego Ulissi in his first race after the Giro d'Italia. The Tuscan rider could also be competitive in the third stage, which is a 16,8 km time trial.
