Today ONE Pro Cycling announce the signing of Danish rider Sebastian Lander. Lander was the Danish National Road Race Champion in 2012 before joining BMC in 2013 where he won the Green Jersey at the Tour of Britain. He has spent this year with the Danish Continental team TreFor-Blue Water.

“I am really pleased to be a part of ONE pro cycling in 2016. I feel lucky to be a part of a new Pro Continental team that already works as a pro team and has belief in my ability”, Lander said.

“ONE Pro Cycling has showed me that they are self-confident and that they aim to achieve the best from the start, together with highly qualified sports directors, coaches, equipment and riders. The way the team is run is something I can really relate to and I think that with this setup and professionalism I can really develop and get back to winning races. I am really happy that my personal sponsor Scanex supported me throughout the year allowing me to get to this point where I’ll have the honour to be back racing with the world’s best riders, in a British team that only looks for the best”

ONE Pro Cycling’s CEO Matt Prior said:

“After talking to and meeting Sebastian it became very clear how motivated he is to come and ride for ONE Pro Cycling and that motivation will only stand a rider of his quality in good stead.

“With such a big step up for the team next year it will be a great asset having someone with Seb’s experience not only having been involved with a World Tour team like BMC but also having raced in some of the biggest races.”

Three further additions to the squad will be announced next week.

Current 2016 team:

Yanto Barker, Tom Baylis, Marcin Bialoblocki, Karol Domagalski, George Harper, Kristian House, Josh Hunt, Sebastian Lander, Chris Opie and Pete Williams.
