Jarlinson Pantano, who did a great Tour de France with a stage win in Culoz and second places in stage 17 to Finhaut-Emosson and stage 20 to Morzine, has been selected for the Olympics.
The IAM rider will replace Nairo Quintana (Movistar Team) in the Colombian team. The latter will undergos tests to determine his illness and the length of time he will need to recover after he suffered through the Tour due to an unidentified health issue. He later made the decision to withdraw from the Olympics.
