ASO have announced the teams that will participate in Paris-Tours.
This year's edition of the sprint classic is likely to be the big dress rehearsal for the Worlds as it will be held on October 9, exactly one week before the battle for the rainbow jersey. As Marcel Kittel's Etixx-QuickStep, André Greipel's Lotto Soudal, Ncer Bouhanni's Cofidis, Mark Cavendish's Dimension Data, Arnaud Demare's FDJ, Bryan Coquard's Direct Energie, Dylan Groenewegen's LottoNL-Jumbo, Elia Viviani's Sky and John Degenkolb's Giant-Alpecin have all been invited, the scene is set for a huge clash between the fastmen.
In total, 12 WorldTour teams, 8 pro continental teams and 3 continental teams have received an invitation.
Last year's race was won by Matteo Trentin.
