De Brabantse Pijl (15th of April, cat 1.HC) is the last test for CCC Sprandi Polkowice before the Amstel Gold Race (19th of April). A strong orange line-up will compete in the Belgian event.

"The roster for Brabantse Pijl is similar to the one for Volta Limburg Classic race, which was held few days ago. Just like in the Netherlands, Maciej Paterski who has been in a great shape lately, will be the leader of the team. He was 2nd in Limburg, won the opener of the Polish season in Sobótka, and after very successful spring events he is strong not only physically, but also mentally. He can also count on his teammates. In the previous races the team was amazing and worked very hard for him," Piotr Wadecki, DS of CCC Sprandi Polkowice, said.

For the Polkowice-based team it will be the third time in a row it takes part in the “Brabant Arrow”. Last year Davide Rebellin finished 7th and the Italian will also participate in this year’s edition.

The race from Leuven to Overijsse will be 205km long and will be filled with 26 hills – short but steep. The last one leads to the finish. 10 UCI WorldTour teams will be present at the start line - among them BMC Racing with last year’s winner, Philippe Gilbert.

Line-up for De Brabantse Pijl (15th of April):

Maciej Paterski, Marek Rutkiewicz, Bartłomiej Matysiak, Grega Bole, Davide Rebellin, Branislau Samoilau, Jarosław Marycz and Stefan Schumacher.
