Bardiani-CSF will return to the scene in Italy facing a historic race, Giro dell’Appennino. On Sunday, April 17, the #GreenTeam will be at the start with a competitive roster to aim for the victory, already conquered by Sonny Colbrelli in 2014 and almost by Stefano Pirazzi last year (second place).
After the great solo win in the last stage of Settimana Coppi and Bartali three weeks ago, Pirazzi will the key rider for Bardiani-CSF on Sunday. Manuel Bongiorno, who returns racing after two weeks of altitude training on Mount Etna, Luca Chirico, Mirco Maestri, Paolo Simion, Enrico Barbin and Simone Sterbini will be at his side
“We’re in the middle of an important part of our season and we don’t want to hide our ambitions for Giro dell’Appennino,” said team director Roberto Reveberi who will lead the team. “We line up a well equipped team to manage the race and impose our game in the finale. The general condition is good, we had positive feedback during the last races. I expect a bold performance from the whole team”.
