After being a loyal teammate with Team Tinkoff-Saxo, Nicolas Roche announced that he was now ready to help Chris Froome won his second grand tour. The Irish rider, who has raced 13 grand tours already in his career, was one of six new riders to join Sky (Leopold Konig, Andrew Fenn, Wouter Poels, Lars-Petter Nordhaug and Elia Viviani).
"It has always been my dream to ride down the Champs Elysees with the yellow jersey in the team, that would be a brilliant success. My priority is to be at the top of the Tour and give my maximum to support to Chris. That's something I agreed on when I joined, it's something I wanted and I'm very happy to do that", he said according to ITV.
