Zdenek Stybar has announced his intention to do a few cyclo-cross races this winter. According to Het Nieuwsblad, the triple world champion has made an application to the organizers of four races.
The events chosen by the Czech star, are the ones in Antwerp (19/12) Loenhout (29/12), Baal (01/01) and Leuven (03/01). The Etixx-QuickStep rider who won a stage in the Tour de France last symmer, does not exluce the possibility that he will do a few more races.
Two winters ago, Stybar did five races and then beat Sven Nys at the World Championships. Last year he crashed in the race in Ardooie in October and so skipped the rest of the cyclo-cross season.
