Not all riders from the IAM have managed to find new a new team. Among them is Jonathan Fumeaux , the 28-year-old Swiss champion whose agent Philippe Raimbaud told the Swiss media that he is "anxious" about the future of his client.
Raimbaud said that "Fumeaux’s career is hanging by a thread” and claims that "riders that are not at his level already have a team for next year." His agent describes his client as "intelligent, multilingual and combative.”
After a season finale that was hampered by physical problems, Fumeaux is now training at his home in the Canton of Valais.
"If I have nothing in hand in mid-November, I will have to draw a conclusion,” continued Raimbaud. “Jonathan is reasonable and he knows that it is not the end of his life.”
