The Caja Rural-Seguros RGA cycling team faces a new competition on French soil, Etolie des Besseges. This race will take place from the 4th to the 8th of February. The team will participate in the competition with the utmost enthusiasm, which will only increase as the days go by. Following their debut in the Challenge de Mallorca, the Caja Rural-Seguros RGA team arrives in France with 4 podiums in Mallorca and a 10th place for Amets Txurruka in the GP La Marseillaise under its belt.

Eugenio Goikoetxea has a balanced and competitive team for the race, one that will impose its presence and ensure battles throughout the race as it searches for triumph at every stage. The eight cyclists are: Amets Txurruka, Pello Bilbao, Omar Fraile, Ángel Madrazo, Fabricio Ferrari, Carlos Barbero, Fernando Grijalba and Miguel Ángel Benito.

The rider, a native of Navarra, underwent a successful operation for the endofibrosis of his external iliac artery and now commences his recovery period. It is expected that he will once again be able to train normally in two months.
