The sky is clearing for Greg Van Avermaet. On Tuesday he will go to Antwerp for a new scan after he fractured his fibula in early November while mountain biking.
Het Nieuwsblad reports that it is expected that Dr. Tim Leenders will give him the green light to resume training. The first training camp with BMC in Denia (December 9-20) will not be compromised.
The injury is not expected to have any consequences for his race schedule which has traditionally seen him start his season at the Tour of Qatar.
