Greg Van Avermaet, twice a runner-up at the Baloise Belgium Tour, leads the BMC Racing Team into the five-day race that starts Wednesday.
Van Avermaet was runner-up in 2011 and 2008. A winner of a stage of Tirreno-Adriatico, he has eight top-three finishes on the year. Santos Tour Down Under winner and past world hour record holder Rohan Dennis is also on the team's roster and will be making his first start in the event.
