"As of this morning, I felt that my legs were better than in the last two days," he said. "I did a great job for the team. In the end, I panicked. My wheel was destroyed in a crash. Ben (Gastauer) waited for me. He rode at 60kph to bring me back to the peloton just before the penultimate climb. I had to go hard to move up in the pace and I lost energy. Bakelants and Nocentini helped me. In the crash, my wheel was destroyed. My brake pads tocched it. Then I was closed towards the barriers. I made it into the top 10 and was close to the top 5 but I fell I can do better. I'm sixth and I am a little frustrated by the race circumstances."
Vuillermoz will not do Liège - Bastogne -. Liège and will instead be at the start of the Tour de Romandie (April 28-May 3).
