Bradley Wiggins (1980) is again changing his body. First he lost a lot of weight to be transformed from the best track cyclist to Tour de France winner in 2012. Now he is going in the opposite direction to beat the hour record (which he did last year) and prepare for the Olympic dream of Rio de Janeiro. On January 2 , the British champion weighed 83.2 kilos compared to 71.75 kilos when he won the 2014 Tour of California.
Wiggins got his fourth Olympic gold medal in the time trial in London in 2012 and is a six-time world champion. He reached his highlight on the rad when he won the Tour de France at a weight of less than 70kg for his 1.90m. Last year he began to gain weight to try to win the Paris-Roubaix. Since then, he has focused on the velodrome and wants to be Olympic champion in 2016.
He is now close to his goal, 84-85 kilos, which he confirmed in an interview in December, 16 more than when he won the Tour de France. "Seven months of hard work in the gym," he said Sunday on his Instagram account and posted photos that showed his weight on May 12, 2014 and January 2, 2016.
