After having taken a brilliant 5th place in the 2015 edition of Paris-Roubaix, Martin Elmiger will not be able to take the start for this year's event next Sunday in Compiègne. Forced to abandon the Tour of Flanders yesterday after crashing around the halfway point, Elmiger suffered a fracture to his left scaphoid in the pile-up.
IAM Cycling’s sports management, in consultation with the team doctor, will discuss a possible date of return to competition for the Swiss rider based on the evolution of his condition.
