The Tour de Suisse is already laying the foundation for 2018. The Swiss stage race has reached an agreement with Gommiswald , a small town in the canton of St. Gallen, which will host the finish of a stage.
It is a significant location as it is located on the shores of Lake Zurich but it could be the destination of a quite challenging stage as it is located at the foot of the Rickenpass. Home of the BMC rider Tom Bohli, the town wanted to get early confirmation in order to plan the events that follow the race.
It is not the first confirmation since the towns of Gansingen and Arosa have already been announced as host cities of the 2018 Tour of Switzerland.
