With less than three months to go till the tart of the TOUR Transalp powered by Sigma, an international field is emerging for the 14th edition of the seven-day stage race which leads from Imst, Austria across the main ridge of the Alps to Rival del Garda, Italy.
Racers from more than 25 countries have registered to compete from June 26th till July 2nd , 2016. Once again, one of the most attractive events for the average-Joe is underlining its worldwide charisma.
Nevertheless, with more than 400 entries the majority of participants are from Germany but also Swiss, Austrian and Dutch athletes are high in number.
Besides the Europeans who are also featuring the youngest (18) and oldest (73!) racer there are also teams of two traveling a long distance to be part of this classic for amateurs, e.g. pairings from South Korea, South Africa, Canada and the US.
However, things can still change within the next couple of weeks as some 100 team entries for the 2016 TOUR Transalp are still available on onlineregistration.de.
