The participation of Esteban Chaves  in  the 2017 Giro d’Italia is again in doubt. 

After the Colombian seemed to confirm for his participation in the 100% edition, the situation has apparently changed. Orica - BikeExchange manager Shane Bannan  tells La Gazzetta dello Sport that no decision has been taken yet.

"In fact we have not decided the programs in detail. We will do so later this month. Do not forget that we have other two important riders for grand tours in the Yates twins . Adam finished fourth in the Tour and Simon was sixth in the Vuelta. I can say definitely that at least one of the three will be at the start of the Giro.Tthe chances of Chaves is currently 50 per cent.”
