The organizers of the Gent-Wevelgem race have granted the first 6 wildcards for this year’s edition due to take place on March 24.
Besides the 18 WourldTour teams the following teams will participate in the Flanders Classic: the Belgian teams Accent Jobs-Wanty, Crelan-Euphony and Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise, French teams Cofidis and Team Europcar and Swiss team IAM Cycling.
The organizers expect to grant the 7th and final wildcard within a couple of days.
