AG2R La Mondiale will be on all fronts this weekend of February 28 and March 1: in Switzerland for the GP Lugano with its Italians, in Belgium for the opening weekend with its classic racers but also in France for the Classic Sud-Ardèche Souvenir Francis Delpech and Drôme Classic .
Jean-Christophe Péraud, Romain Bardet, Ben Gastauer, Samuel Dumoulin, Mikaël Chérel, Pierre Latour, Guillaume Bonnafond and Axel Domont will be led by Gilles Mas in the hilly races.
"In Ardeche and Drome, I'll find the roads of my childhood," Domont said. "I know the different strategic points of the race very well and last year I was able to share my experience with the team. It can help them to predict the race. I still have family and friends to encourage me.
"The victory of Ben (Gastauer at the Tour du Haut Var) was a pleasure and it makes us more motivated. We feel that the group is ready. Both races this weekend may suit different riders in the team. About me, my shape comes to a crescendo. I got reassured at the Trofeo Laigueglia and I hope it will get better and better."
