The Critérium du Dauphiné will be held from Sunday 8 to Sunday, June 15. The race will start from Lyon with a 10,4 kilometers prologue between Saône and Rhône rivers.
A race held dearly to Vincent Lavenu, the Critérium du Dauphiné is, for the team AG2R LA MONDIALE, an opportunity to shine on its home territory. The manager of the french team says about the team’s ambitions in this race: “Our team is led by Jean-Christophe Péraud and Romain Bardet who both have obtained great results since the beginning of the season, as the whole team. We hope to confirm these good results at home, with a rider that finishes in the Top 5 and two in the ten first riders overall. Obviously, we also aim at stage wins and we have some arguments that can be put forward. The stage of Monday, from Tarare to Col du Béal will already be decisive. The stage that will finish at La Mure also looks very difficult, as well as the two last stages: Ville-La-Grand – Finhaut Emosson and Megève-Courchevel , which might decide the final overall standings.”
The team roster : Romain BARDET (FRA), Guillaume BONNAFOND (FRA), Maxime BOUET (FRA), Mikael CHEREL (FRA), Ben GASTAUER (LUX), Alexis GOUGEARD (FRA), Blel KADRI (FRA), Jean-Christophe PERAUD (FRA)
