With his current Sojasun team set to disband at the end of the season, young sprinter Maxime Daniel has found a team for the comings season. The 22-year-old has signed a three-year contract with Ag2r La Mondiale.

Several teams are disbanding at the end of the season and this has left several riders with an uncertain future. One of the teams to disappear is the Sojasun squad whose manager Stephane Heulet has told the riders to look for new homes according to a report in L'Equipe.

One of the lucky riders who has secured his future, is the talented young sprinter Maxime Daniel who turned professional with the team prior to the season. The 22-year-old has shown plenty of promise with a win and a further two podium results on stages of the Volta ao Portugal being his highlights and this has attracted the interest of the ProTeam Ag2r La Mondiale.

Today the team has announced that they have signed a three-year contract with the team. The team states that they expect him to prove his qualities as a rouleur and sprinter and that he will get his own chances in select races.

The signing comes a few weeks after the decision by the team to let three of its current sprinters go. Valentin Iglinskiy, Anthony Ravard and Manuel Belletti have not been offered a contract renewal and have been left to look for new teams. While Belletti has signed a contract with Androni-Venezuela, Ravard has ended his career and Iglinskiy's future is still uncertain.

Daniel will be joined by Yuauheni Hutarovich, Davide Appollonio, Samuel Dumoulin, Lloyd Mondory and Sebastien Turgot to form the team's contingent of sprinters for next season.
